Misch, DDS, MDS, of Sarasota, Florida was recently selected by an extensive vote of his peers to be included in the 2004-2005 premier edition of “The Best Dentists In America.” Publishers Woodward/White, researched and surveyed 9680 leading dentists throughout the United States whocast more than 125,000 votes concerning the abilities of other peer dentists in order to compile the publication. The listing is considered a singular honor as the votes were anonymous and the listing could not be purchased or prearranged. Dr. Misch is a dual trained specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery and prosthodontics. His Sarasota

practice focuses on implant dentistry. He is board certified in both oral surgery and implant dentistry. Dr. Misch is an Associate Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry as well as Assitant Professor in the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is past Co-Director of the University of Pittsburgh Oral Implantology Center. He is also on the faculty of the Misch Implant Institute, the Pankey Institute and the Seattle Study Clubs. Dr. Misch is on the editorial board of two dental journals - Implant Dentistry and the Journal of Oral Implantology. He has been a featured speaker at several national meetings including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration.
